Kindergarten - 1st Grade
Our primary grade children are ready to ‘dive' into God's word, to learn about the stories and people in the Bible, and how these stories can relate to their own lives. The atmosphere is exiting and fun as they worship God "kids-style", through relevant "kid friendly" worship music. Bible lessons are presented in a variety of creative ways encouraging the children to engage with all of their senses as we strive to reach every style of learner at their level. Lessons are taught as building blocks in your child's walk with God, so that every child can come in, no matter what their Bible background may be, and learn as they enjoy the experience. They have fun! Each child will be included in a small group community where God's word is reinforced in a personal and loving way by our committed River Kids volunteers.
2nd Grade - 4th Grade
All 2nd - 4th Graders are invited to ‘ride the rapids' in UPSTREAM! This multi-media format appeals to their lifestyles and interest levels. Worship is presented "kids-style" and children are encouraged to take leadership roles during Worship time. We will be building on their knowledge of the Bible and how its truths can be applied to their lives. They will be apart of a small group community where they are shepherded by a loving and encouraging River Kids leader. Our goal is that your children will know the Bible, understand biblical truths, and will leave with a relevant and personal application of God's truth that they can apply to their week at home, in school, and in their community. After your children experience Up Stream, they will be bringing YOU to church!
