River Kid's Ministry
We have determined that our ministry mission will most likely be accomplished when biblical truths are taught in a child-targeted, relevant, and creative way in a Large Group setting while also allowing for each child's participation in a small group community where God's word is reinforced in a personal and loving way.
Our Goal
Our goal is that your kids will KNOW the Bible, UNDERSTAND biblical truths,
and will leave each week with a relevant and PERSONAL APPLICATION of each truth that is taught.
It's All About Love
Our small group communities are intentionally designed to model Christ to our children. As our volunteers shepherd your children in small groups they will be influenced by someone who believes in them, encourages them, and is committed to lead them closer to Christ.

Spiritual Safety
Children are in different places spiritually. Your kids will not be put on the spot to "know" the Bible or understand a Christian living concept. They will not be coerced into making spiritual decisions that they are not ready to make. They will be allowed to move in their spiritual journey one step at a time. They will know that it is okay to ask hard questions about faith.
Emotional Safety
Emotional safety occurs as leaders who are positive, welcoming, and sincere surround children. Kids are affirmed for who they are. They are nurtured through kind words and actions by all volunteers. We are all apart of Rivers Crossing Community Church and will love each other as a family, looking out for your children as if they were our own.
Physical Safety
Physical safety is reflected through having room environments with age-appropriate equipment, background checks and interviews with all volunteers, security tags for all volunteers and staff, name tags on all children, and the enforcement of check-in and check-out procedures.
Fun Factor!
We want your children coming back week after week because they were loved for who they are and they enjoyed their visit so much they want to return. We want them to have Fun! While kids keep coming back for the Fun! We can accomplish our mission by continuing to nurture and teach them spiritually.
