Rivers Crossing Community Church

I miss my diet coke and caffeine. This is the first time in years that  I have given up both of these. Saturday night I was driving home and I  prayed asking God to help me with the headache I knew would come. I  have to say that I have been surprised how God has answered my prayer.  
Why is it that when we ask God to do something for us and He does, we  are surprised? I think it's because we live in a society that promises  us something and then fails to fulfill the promise. As followers of  Christ we can always depend that God hears our prayers and will  answer. It might be a yes, no or not at this time BUT He does give us an answer.
