Trust. 5 letters that ask a lot of us. While on this fast God is
asking if I trust Him. Do I trust Him to fulfill promises He has made
to me? Do I trust Him that He is protecting me? Do I trust Him period?
I have a lot of faith that He is who He says He is but moving that
faith to trust, that He is protecting, watching out for me is hard at
times. But I know it's truth and I am standing firm in that truth.
What are some lies Satan are throwing at you during this fast? What is
making you doubt. I challenge you to write down what you are hearing
and take each one to the Lord. Open your Bible and see what the Bible
has to say about each one and then pray that God will help you to
stand firm on the truth He reveals to you. If you need to, go to a
trusted friend or mentor and ask them to pray with you. But then stand
firm and TRUST in what the Lord shows you.
Psalm 139:14 "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully
made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."
